Connecting Jooki with a wired headset (or speaker)

20 March, 2023

To connect Jooki to a wired headset, please get a “passive” (i.e. without built-in DAC) USB-C to 3.5mm jack Audio Adapter.

We tested these models:

Once you find the right model, please follow the steps below:

Step 1: power Jooki on.
Step 2: open the Jooki app and tap on the prompt to update your Jooki’s firmware: this will take around 10 minutes. You can take your phone away while this is happening.
Step 3: when the firmware has updated, open the app and go to Settings > Wireless headsets.
Step 4: enable the “pairing mode” on your headset: its name will appear in the Jooki app.
Step 5: tap on the name of the headset and it will connect with Jooki.
To disconnect: turn the headset or Jooki off.

From now on if Jooki is on, the headset will connect automatically when powered on.
If possible, dedicate a headset to your child’s listening to Jooki.
